Hello there my bookish friends!
I finished Lemon Meringue Pie Murder by Joanne fluke last week, this is the fourth book in the Hanna Swensen series. If you are new here, this is my absolute favorite cozy mystery series. That is probably a biased opinion since it was the first one that I read.
Hannah assumed that she had a grip on her life, that is until Norman called to tell her that he was going to build their dream house. Hannah was shocked since her ring finger was still bare. Before tearing the house down Hannah and her mother went to look at all of the antiques. But they found much more, a dead body. Now Hannah has to figure it out so Norman can build their house.
This was the perfect book to read before the Fourth of July because that was the theme of this book. I really enjoyed this book, I got to know more about the characters and feel more connected to them. I found the twists and turns of knowing who the killer was and why they did it was so much fun for me. The ending was a huge cliff hanger, now I feel as if I have to read the next installment as soon as possible.
I give this 4.5 stars. If you haven’t read this series I recommend it.
