This sounds like it will give me have me feeling a lot of emotions. I can’t wait to dive into it. You guys can pick this gem up starting today!
Thank you @juliecdalton and @booksparks for my copy 🤍
I got this mug as a Christmas gift and was so excited to use it this morning 🥰! It’s so cute and my vibe. ☕️
Happy Pub Day to my current read The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins. This is my first book of the new year and it’s soooo good!
It’s a fast paced thriller. I saw this floating around bookstagram and felt that I needed to read it and I was correct!
Quick Synopsis: Meet Jane. Newly arrived to Birmingham Alabama, Jane is a broke dog-walker in Thornfield Estates- a gated community full of McMansions and shiny SUVs 🚙. The kind of place where no one will notice if Jane lifts the jewelry off side tables. Where no one will ask if Jane is even her real name.
It’s such a great read, if you haven’t grabbed a copy yet I suggest it. Cant wait to share with you guys my thoughts when I’m done 😊 .
My last book of 2020 was The Tourist Attraction by Sara Morgenthaler.
Synopsis: When Gram Barnett named his diner The Tourist Trap, he meant it as a joke. Now he’s singing reindeer dogs to an endless parade of resort visitors who he couldn’t be bothered with. Two weeks in Alaska is the top item for Zoey Caldwells bucket list. An act of kindness brings Zoey into Grams world and she finds there more to the grumpy local than meets the eye.
I absolutely enjoyed this book so much! It was a great read to finish the year with. It gave me all the feels. Do I think it was predictable, yes did I enjoy that, absolutely. I felt like this was a hallmark movie but in boom form. It gave me romance, comedy and at some points I said “I knew that would happen”. This was a total booksta made me do it and I have no regrets. I didn’t realize this was a series so now I’ll have to read the others to see what happens next with these crazy kids!
I get so excited getting book mail, it’s the best type of mail in my opinion. 😂
I received a copy of Be Dazzled by Ryan La Sala and the cover is adorable. It’s simple but I think it’s beautifully done.
This sounds like a great read and I can’t wait to dive in. Be Dazzled is an epic, queer love story about creativity, passion, and finding the courage to be your most authentic self.
I’m excited to be apart of the #WRC2021, where I get to read these amazing books!
Does anyone else feel like the first half of the year was extremely slow and if felt like the longest year ever and the last couple of months have flown by?
The last book I’m trying to squeeze in to finish the year off is The Tourist Attraction by Sara Morgenthaler
So far I’m really enjoying this book it’s beyond cute.
Happy day after Christmas! Going to work today was tough, I was so full and tired from yesterday. But it wasn’t as hectic as I thought it would be.
I finished this gem a few days ago and I really enjoyed it. I can see why In A Holidaze was all over bookstagram. It’s such a cute read.
Since I’m sure you’ve seen this one all week I will keep this review short and sweet. And if you haven’t I encourage you to give this one a try.
Synopsis : It the most wonderful time of the year…. but not for Maelyn Jones. She’s living with her parents , hates her job and has mad a romantic error of epic proportions. This may also be Maes last year at her favorite place where she and her family have spent the holidays since she was born.
Review: I really enjoyed the ground hogs day vibe this book had. I also found Maelyn very relatable and rooted for her to get what she wanted. This book also made me laugh and have all the feels which was great to read before Christmas. I was happy with the ending of the story, in a way it left me wanting more and I like that in a book. This is my first book from this author and I can not wait to read more .
My BOTM arrived last week and I was really excited because both books seemed like such great reads.
I picked The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins and When Katie Met Cassidy by Camille Perry.
It looks like I am set book wise for 2021 😂. I’m going to try to finish In a Holidaze and tourist attraction before the year ends. But we will see what happens.
Also today is the first official day of winter and I was not ready for it to be so cold🥶.
I’m currently reading In A Holidaze by Christina Lauren and guys why didn’t you tell me to read this sooner? 😂😂
This boom is beyond cute! I wish I had more time in the day to just binge read it. I’m halfway in and I can’t wait to get to the end because I just need to know how things end up!
If you have this one on your TBR it’s a must read in my opinion guys.
