I really enjoyed this book! It was so funny and a light read. I enjoyed how the main character had a coming of age moment at the end of the book. She spent the whole year really trying to figure out who she was, while being a senior in high school. And let’s be honest senior year of high school is not always very easy. The book flowed very well and kept me highly entertained throughout the whole thing. I would definitely recommend this if you want something light.
I am a huge cozy mystery fan, so I couldn’t wait to read A Spell for Trouble by Esme Addison.
Synopsis: Aleksandra Daniels hasn’t set foot in the quiet seaside town of Bellamy Bay, North Carolina in over twenty years. Ever since her mother’s tragic death, her father has mysteriously forbidden her from visiting her aunt and cousins. But on a whole Alex accepts an invitation to visit her estranged relatives.
Guys this book was really good, I finished it in three days! I couldn’t put it down, the story telling was amazing. The descriptions made everything seem real and totally sucked me in. I had a picture of what everything and everyone looked like in my head. This was a very fun read and I can not wait for the second book in this series. Thank you
Happy Monday guys! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend.
I received my #BOTM a couple of days ago, I’m so excited for my picks. Two of them are definitely #bookstagrammademedoit picks. Everyone’s said such good things about The guest by Lucy Foley and Beach read by Emily Henry.
I’m going to be honest I haven’t read much this month due to moving and taking a tiny vacation today was my first day of truly reading and I’m not really feeling the book I’m reading 😔. I’m debating on ditching it and reading something else or just finishing it.
Hey guys welcome back! My third read this month is The little shop in Cornwall by Helen Pollard.
I fell in love with the cover of this book guys I have to admit. It is simple yet bold. Does this happen to anyone else? You know nothing about the book but by looking at the cover you want to read it. Then you proceed to read the back cover of the book hoping it lives up to the cover of the book. That was me when deciding if I wanted to commit to this book.
A perfect beach read…If you are ready to go to the beach yet, or a nice read in your backyard with a nice margarita.
Claudia left her corporate life and husband behind in London. Setting up a new age shop along the beach in Cornwall with a new lease on life. With her companion pudding Claudia couldn’t be happier with her decision. Jason Craig and his teenage daughter Millie move to Cornwall after his wife passes away from cancer. Both hurt, upset and confused stumble onto Claudia’s store, one more interested then the other. Someone else moves in and makes Claudia feel that she is no longer needed in their little community.
I was so happy when Netgalley and Bookoture gifted me a copy of this book! So far it id very good, I haven’t been able to put it down! Check out my review for this book!
Have you ever needed a comfort read after reading a book that put you in a weird space? After reading the last book I read, I really needed something that would put me in a good mood. I am not quite yet ready to read the next book in the Hannah Swenson series so I decided to crack open Harry potter and the scourers stone.
It has been awhile since I have read these books and boy did I forget how good they are! I think after so many books I will read these again. I have the illustrated copies so it was so much fun reading these!
